"Oil Spill Response have a long standing commitment to energy conservation. As part of this commitment, we decided to commit to a trial of solatubes in our conference room to give some natural light to the windowless area. As part of this research, a number of manufacturers were contacted and the performance of the various light tubes were compared. The Solatube product was selected as a result of this research based on the BRE tests and the reflectivity figures.

This project was problematic in as much as the loft area is very congested with climate control equipment and posed a real challenge to the fitting of these tubes.

Cobsen Davies took on this work and completed the works in a timely manner to an extremely high standard, fitting in between the conflicting demands on the area. The change to the area is significant and we have been very happy with the amount of natural light that now floods into the room which is infinitely controllable through the electric dampers.

The approach to health and safety during these works by the fitters was very professional, and we would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them to others."
